Description

The CALIS 420 air heaters are forced convection air handling terminals, designed for wall mounting or suspension. These units connect to a hot water hydraulic network (heating function) or chilled water network (air conditioning function).

Practical Advantages

Ceiling installation frees up all floor space. The complete absence of internal combustion eliminates the need for flue gas exhaust ducting. This feature makes the CALIS 420 particularly suitable for sensitive areas: distribution platforms, woodworking workshops, ERP... Commissioning is limited to connection to the hydraulic circuit and compliant electrical supply.

Energy Performance

The CALIS range covers a power range from 7 to 80 kW depending on the circulating water temperature. High air flow rates ensure rapid heating and effective frost protection. The supply can come from a boiler, heat pump, refrigeration unit or reversible heat pump.

The F version (air conditioning) incorporates condensate collection trays and drip guards, enabling bi-seasonal use: hot air in winter, cool air in summer. The low-pressure coils combine an aluminum/copper exchanger on 2 or 3 rows depending on the models, tested at 105°C under 8 bars.

Acoustic Comfort

The reduced-speed helical fan ensures quiet operation. The air flow is adjustable on two speeds. Distribution is optimized by a supply grille with adjustable horizontal blades. The double deflection grille option allows fine adjustment of lateral distribution. A specific long-throw grille is available for large-width volumes.

Automation

Fully autonomous and secure operation without permanent supervision. Control possible via switch, room thermostat, time programmer or timer. Possibility of pure ventilation operation during the summer season. An electronic speed controller can be added as an option to modulate the supply air temperature.

Customization

Custom configurations are available on request: modification of air flow rates, 1 to 3 row coils, ATEX versions, filter housings for fresh air treatment...
