The AW 20 S air washer improves air quality in rooms up to 55 m² or 138 m³, thanks to its air flow rate of 228 m³/h adjustable across 3 ventilation levels.

Unlike traditional purifiers that dry out the air in winter, the AW 20 S purifies and humidifies while maintaining perfect hygiene. Inhaled particles are bound by a water film and washed in the 9-liter reservoir through the rotation of humidifying discs. The high-performance three-stage filtration, with its two premium HEPA filters (retention rate 97.97%), eliminates particles down to 0.3 µm (viruses, bacteria, pollen, dust mite excrement, mold spores). Plasma ionization completes the process by eliminating tobacco, food, or pet odors.

An intelligent combined sensor automatically measures ambient air parameters and drives the necessary intensity of purification and humidification in automatic mode. The integrated 9-liter reservoir, with permanent level measurement, allows humidification for up to 24 hours. Cleaning the discs is simply done in the dishwasher. Nine operating modes, three-level fan, and other comfort functions allow air quality to be adapted to individual needs.

Air humidification with optional HEPA cleaning

The "humidification" mode (capacity 750 ml/h) operates with or without HEPA purification. Purification can also be activated separately, without humidification. Natural cold evaporation humidification, without filter mats, avoids white dust and wet zones from ultrasonic humidifiers. Excess humidity is excluded. The "comfort" indicator displays ambient humidity (20-60%) and automatically deactivates humidification at 50% relative humidity.

The triple principle of air washing: cleaning, humidification, odor neutralization

The combination of three cleaning processes and multiple filtration stages makes the AW 20 S air washer the leader in its category.

First process: air washing as in nature

Stale ambient air is purified naturally, without chemicals. The device draws in charged air, passes it through a pre-filter then through a humidifying disc where a liquid film captures impurities. Pollen and dust stick to the wet disc, then are washed in the water bath. Positive side effect: the air is automatically humidified, significantly improving the ambient climate and well-being.

Second process: double HEPA filtration

Two HEPA filters eliminate 97.97% of viruses, bacteria, fungi, mold spores, pollen, dust, and pollutants down to 0.3 µm.

Third process: plasma ionization

Switchable plasma ionization generates positive (hydrogen) and negative (oxygen) ions blown into the room with the cleaned and humidified air. These "ionized clusters" extract water from pollutants upon contact, eliminating odors and contaminants.

Optimally humidified ambient air protects against viruses and pathogens

Scientific studies demonstrate that optimal quality air provides twice as much protection against infections. Pathogenic viruses (influenza, covid-19) are exhaled via aerosols and float for several hours if the room is not sufficiently ventilated.

When relative humidity is between 40 and 60%, airborne viruses are inactivated within seconds

The infectivity of aerosols depends on relative humidity. If the air is too dry, aerosols shrink, float longer, and are easily inhaled. At optimal humidity, the salt concentration in particles modifies the pathogens, rendering them harmless upon contact with air.

Ideally humidified mucous membranes represent the best natural protection against pathogenic germs

The body has defense mechanisms: the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract (mouth, nose, throat) constitute a central element of immunity, very effective against pathogens provided they are optimally humidified. Air that is too dry extracts water from the mucous membranes, hardening the protective layer and allowing infectious agents to pass freely.
