SDS destratifiers are enclosed units equipped with intelligent automatic control. Thanks to their built-in ambient thermostat, they automatically start as soon as the temperature reaches the programmed threshold, usually set between 3 and 4°C above the desired floor temperature.

Remarkable energy performance

These highly efficient units can achieve up to 30% fuel savings. They effectively recover the heat accumulated in the upper parts of the premises while significantly improving thermal comfort through better temperature uniformity throughout the building.

Air destratification

During heating, hot air naturally rises towards the ceiling, creating a stratification phenomenon whose intensity depends on the ceiling height:

The temperature difference can reach 1 to 2°C per meter of height

For a 7-meter high room, the difference can thus represent 7 to 14°C between the floor and the ceiling

Installed at two-thirds of the building height, the SDS units capture this unused hot air stored at height and intelligently redistribute it towards the occupied zones at floor level.

Optimized acoustic comfort

The fans run at low speed (900 rpm) to ensure quiet operation. The air flow direction is easily adjusted thanks to the adjustable blades located on the air outlet, allowing precise and adapted diffusion for each configuration.

Simplified installation

The implementation of SDS units requires few structural constraints. Four chains are sufficient to suspend the unit, even in the absence of beams or load-bearing cross members. Their reduced weight avoids the installation of costly support structures.

Connection is made simply to a 230 V single-phase power supply. Once the thermostat is set to the desired value, the unit operates in complete autonomy without requiring further intervention.
