The BEAS electronic signal adapter unit ensures the conversion of different types of signals to guarantee optimal compatibility with the actuators used in ventilation installations.

This equipment facilitates interfacing between sensors, detectors and control systems, while ensuring stable and consistent operation.

BEAS Unit for Analog Signal and Dry Contact Conversion

The operating principle is based on the transformation of a potential-free dry contact, coming for example from a presence detector, or an analog signal from a CO2 probe, into a signal usable by the controlled equipment. This conversion allows effective control of a voltage or frequency variator, a motorized damper or a fan motor.

The BEAS is delivered with a factory setting adapted to the majority of configurations encountered. The 0 to 20 mA analog current input, intended in particular for connection to a CO2 probe, is made on terminal J3. This configuration also allows transforming a unipolar 0/1 contact into a switched bipolar contact, useful for managing two-speed motors controlled by presence detector.

The connection of a potential-free contact is made on input J7, without direct action on the analog output. The converted signals are then available in the form of 0 to 10 V DC voltage output for the control of variators or motorized dampers, as well as in normally open/normally closed contact output for the control of variators or multi-speed motors.
