This Fricokit allows you to install invisible electric heating in your ceiling, integrated directly into your plasterboard. Delivered ready to install with regulation and thermostat included, it offers a complete and efficient ceiling heating solution.

Plaster radiant ceiling: efficient and discreet heating

Contrary to popular belief, ceiling heating is just as efficient as underfloor heating. It is not heat that rises, but hot air. With radiation, the position of the source matters little. The Fricokit constitutes a complete heating system, although it can serve as supplementary heating in less well-insulated homes.

The efficiency of this system relies on a thin plaster layer of only 13 mm separating the heat source from the room. Without floor clutter (furniture, carpets), thermal diffusion reaches 80%. The response time is fast thanks to negligible inertia, without a floating screed to heat. The surface temperature does not exceed 32°C at nominal operation.

Simplified installation

The Fricokit is designed for professionals and experienced DIY enthusiasts. Installation consists of:

Positioning the metal framework

Connecting the panels together via the garland

Connecting the whole to the junction box

Connecting the thermostat (230V single-phase power supply, 11A relay)

Sizing your installation

The required power depends on your home's insulation:

Very good insulation: 75 W/m² for supplementary heating, 85 W/m² for main heating

Good insulation: 85 W/m² for supplementary heating, 100 W/m² for main heating

Average insulation: up to 100 W/m² maximum

Concrete example: for a 20 m² very well-insulated room, plan for 1500W (20 x 75) for supplementary heating, i.e., the FKIT1584 model at 1584W.

Smart regulation

The included TEVMIN11 thermostat is a 6-stage electronic controller. Its first commissioning program ensures a gradual temperature rise over 10 days, preventing drying out and cracking of the boards after jointing.

Standards and warranty

Fricokit products comply with current standards (NF C15100, CPT-PRP). The heating element is NF Electricity marked. 10-year warranty on products according to special conditions. Installation must be carried out by QUALIBAT 7151, 7152 or 7153 qualified companies, or in coordination with a certified ceiling installer. 30mA differential protection required per 7.5 kW max section (230V).
