PLASTER RADIANT CEILING: HIGH-PERFORMANCE HEATING

Contrary to popular belief, ceiling heating is just as effective as underfloor heating. It is not heat that rises, but warm air. In radiant mode, the position of the source matters little. The Fricokit is a complete heating system integrated into your plasterboard ceiling. For optimal insulation, it can serve as the main heating source; in other cases, it works ideally as supplementary or comfort heating.

OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE

Plaster radiant ceiling offers remarkable efficiency: only a thin 13 mm layer of plaster separates the heat source from the room. Without floor obstacles (furniture, carpets), diffusion reaches 80% efficiency. Response time is fast thanks to the absence of screed inertia. Surface temperature never exceeds 32°C in nominal operation.

INSTALLATION AND SIZING

Each kit is suitable for an individual room with its own thermostat. The 230V single-phase supply connects to the thermostat (11A relay), which controls the wiring harness connected to the panels via a junction box.

Power recommendations:

Very good insulation: 75 W/m² for supplementary heating | 85 W/m² for main heating

Good insulation: 85 W/m² for supplementary heating | 100 W/m² for main heating

Insufficient insulation: This system is not suitable

Example for 20 m²:

Excellent insulation + supplementary heating → 1500W (model FKIT1584)

Good insulation + supplementary heating → 1700W (model FKIT1716)

Average insulation + supplementary heating → 2000W (model FKIT1980)
