The Principle of Radiant Ceiling Heating

Contrary to popular belief, ceiling heating is just as effective as underfloor heating. It is not heat that rises, but hot air. With radiation, the position of the source matters little. The Fricokit is a complete heating system integrated into plasterboard. For optimal insulation, it can serve as primary heating; in other cases, it works ideally as supplementary heating for additional comfort.

Advantages of Plaster Radiant Ceiling

The PRC (Plaster Radiant Ceiling) offers maximum efficiency thanks to a thin plaster layer of only 13 mm separating the heat source from the room. Without floor obstacles (furniture, carpets), thermal diffusion reaches 80% efficiency. Response time is fast as there is no screed inertia to overcome. Surface temperature never exceeds 32°C, ensuring safety and comfort.

Simplified Installation

The kit is designed for installation accessible to experienced DIYers. Panels connect via the garland to a junction box, then to the thermostat. 230V single-phase power supplies the thermostat's 11A relay. Each panel has a 2m cord with male plug. Installation nevertheless requires compliance with NFC 15100 standards and coordination with a qualified QUALIBAT 7151, 7152 or 7153 ceiling installer.
