This complete Fricokit allows you to easily install an electric radiant heating system in your plasterboard ceilings. Delivered ready to install, it includes all necessary elements: heating panels, neutral panels, connection harness and electronic thermostat.

How does radiant ceiling heating work?

Contrary to popular belief, ceiling heating is just as effective as underfloor heating. Radiation diffuses heat directly towards surfaces, objects and people, without convectively heating the air. Only a thin 13 mm layer of plaster separates the heat source from the room, ensuring excellent heat transmission with 80% efficiency.

Simplified installation

Each kit is designed to equip an individual room with its own thermostat. The panels connect to each other via the supplied harness, which leads to a junction box connected to the thermostat. Single-phase 230V electrical supply arrives directly at the thermostat (11A relay). Installation requires specific PRP plasterboard and must comply with NF C15100 standard.

Recommended sizing:

Very good insulation: 75 W/m² for supplementary heating / 85 W/m² for main heating

Good insulation: 85 W/m² for supplementary heating / 100 W/m² for main heating

Average insulation: 100 W/m² maximum for supplementary heating only
