Automatic Control De-stratifier SDS10 - SOVELOR-DANTHERM

SDS de-stratifiers are enclosed units equipped with an intelligent automatic control system. They integrate an ambient thermostat that automatically triggers operation as soon as the temperature reaches the programmed threshold (generally 3 to 4°C above the desired floor temperature).

The Stratification Problem

During heating, hot air naturally rises toward ceilings, creating a thermal imbalance that increases with building height:

On a 7-meter ceiling height, the gap can represent 7 to 14°C

Technical Solution

Installed at two-thirds of the building height, SDS units capture stagnant hot air in upper volumes and redistribute it to occupied zones at floor level.

Simplified Implementation

SDS installation requires no special beams or cross-members. Suspension is achieved by four chains, their reduced mass avoiding the use of heavy and costly fixing structures.

Connection to 230V single-phase power supply is sufficient for autonomous operation. The integrated thermostat adjustment allows immediate adaptation of the unit's behavior to the specific needs of the premises.
