Standards and regulations

Tanks must be manufactured according to French, European standards or any other equivalent standard from an EU member state.

Above-ground outdoor storage (non-buried)

Mandatory equipment with a second waterproof envelope with possibility to detect any loss of tightness

Single-walled tank permitted if placed in a waterproof retention basin with a capacity equal to at least 100% of the largest tank capacity or 50% of the total tank capacity

Sufficient opacity to prevent diesel degradation

Solid ground fixing on a masonry surface

Storage exceeding 15,000 litres:

Distance between 2 tanks: 0.2 D (D = width of the largest tank) with a minimum of 1.5 metres

Fencing of at least 1.75 metres height surrounding the tanks

Indoor building storage (non-buried)

Obligation of a secondary waterproof, fire-resistant envelope allowing detection of any loss of tightness of the inner envelope

Single-walled tank permitted if placed in a waterproof and non-combustible retention basin with a capacity at least equal to that of the tank

Possibility of battery arrangement of tanks of same type, capacity and height for a maximum total storage of 10,000 litres, with interconnection at upper part and installation at same level

This storage tank features a double-walled design ensuring optimal protection. The outer shell made of galvanized steel resists external aggression, while the inner tank made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) guarantees compatibility with your fluids. The steel has a thickness of 0.8 to 1.0 mm, the PE of 4 to 5 mm.
