The MASTER EKO 3, previously marketed under the name BUG 3, is a mobile heating device operating on 230 V single-phase power. Specifically designed to generate high temperatures, this compact and lightweight equipment tolerates environments that can rise up to 60 °C. It is primarily intended for thermal treatment of small, perfectly insulated spaces.

Application Areas

This device is particularly suitable for heating ovens and dryers. It also proves useful for the thermal disinfection of well-insulated rooms of approximately 6 m². When facing infestations, it offers a radical method against bed bugs, beetles, scarabs, and moths. Pest elimination is achieved by maintaining a temperature between 50 and 60 °C for a minimum duration of two hours. For larger areas (approximately 15 m²), combining it with a more powerful model such as the BUG 9 remains possible.

Practical Design and Maneuverability

Its compact construction and sturdy handles facilitate movement, including up stairs or into basements. Installation requires no particular technical skills: simply position the device in the relevant space, connect it to the electrical network, and then to the remote control unit provided as standard.

Devoid of visible flame, smoke, and combustion gases, this heater can be installed safely in confined spaces. The shielded heating elements ensure temperature rise in 15 °C increments until reaching 60 °C. This gradual operation prevents thermal shock and avoids dispersing insects. The integrated fan runs continuously, ensuring uniform heat distribution and reducing the temperature difference between floor and ceiling.

Robustness and Automation

The EKO 3 withstands heated environments between 50 and 60 °C for several hours without deterioration. The external control unit incorporates a mobile probe, a timer, and a digital display. This configuration allows automatic monitoring and temperature adjustment without needing to enter the room under treatment.
