Product Description
The IR3000 electric radiant heater from FRICO is specifically designed for complete or supplementary heating of large spaces with high ceilings. This industrial infrared emitter is also suitable for outdoor applications such as frost protection for loading docks or heating of sports stands. Its robust industrial design ensures optimal durability in the most demanding environments.

Advantages of Infrared Heating
Thanks to infrared technology, you can precisely adjust the temperature to different zones within a space. Spot heating significantly improves occupant comfort while reducing energy costs. Dividing a large volume into several heating zones allows for optimized consumption, particularly in buildings where some areas are rarely used.

Recommended Positioning
For effective spot heating, the emitters must be installed so that people receive heat from both the front and back. The minimum distance from the heads of occupants must be 2 meters. The unit can be oriented at different angles to direct heat exactly where it is needed. For outdoor installations, the emitters must absolutely be placed under a roof.

Electrical Connection
The IR3000 is designed for permanent installation. The connection box incorporates double connection bases allowing several emitters to be linked together in series.

Regulatory Compliance
To comply with the Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2015/1188, the appliance must absolutely be equipped with a TAP16R thermostat or an RB123 output control (accessories sold separately).

TAP16R: electronic thermostat with adaptive start, weekly programming and window opening detection

RB3: 400 V3N~/400V3~ relay box

Thermostat and black bulb sensor control:

TAP16R: electronic thermostat

SKG30: black bulb sensor

RB3: 400 V3N~/400V3~ relay box

3-stage output control with presence detector:

RB123: relay box with 3-stage output control

PDK65: presence detector with power supply

Note: When using the TAP16R, the IP44 protection rating is achieved by adding a TEP44 protective enclosure and an RTX54 external temperature sensor in place of the internal sensor. An RB relay box is also required in this configuration.

The product can also be controlled via a centralized management system (BMS), subject to compliance with the requirements of the Ecodesign regulation.
