The solution for continuous unattended operation of air dehumidifiers.

Equipped with a 4-pin DIN plug, this hygrostat allows control of adsorption air dehumidifiers from the TTR series (TTR 160 to TTR 500 D) as well as any other device with DIN sockets for external circuits.

The HG 110, HG 120, and HG 130 models share identical technology and differ only in their connectivity. The HG 110 features a 6.35 mm jack socket. The HG 120 has a 4-pole DIN plug. The HG 130, available in 230 V version, offers a maximum switching load of 10 A with a combined CEE-7/7 socket.

Operation and Applications

When paired with a compatible air dehumidifier, the external hygrostat HG 120 acts as a two-point controller to manage ambient relative humidity. It is useful for indoor construction sites, cellars, climate-controlled cabinets, or regulated dehumidification of offices and server rooms.

Its application areas extend to the storage of goods and foodstuffs, cold storage rooms for fruits and vegetables, horticultural greenhouses, the textile industry, the paper and printing industry, the film industry, as well as hospital facilities. Wherever atmospheric humidity control proves necessary, the HG 120 and its associated dehumidifier provide a suitable solution.

Installation and Measurement Principle

The choice of installation location determines the representativeness of measurements. The device must be positioned in the airflow to accurately reflect the room's ambient humidity. The room hygrostat detects humidity variations quickly and precisely. Adjusting the setpoint button modifies the internal lever system: when the programmed humidity threshold is reached, the microswitch triggers automatically.
