The HELIOS RADIANT SAFE INDUSTRY ATEX infrared radiant heater provides targeted heat delivery in industrial environments subject to high constraints.

Reinforced structure and ATEX zone-compliant components

The die-cast aluminum body features a powder-coated epoxy paint finish to enhance resistance to external aggressions. The reflective parabola in pure aluminum, bright and anodically oxidized, ensures efficient infrared radiation diffusion.

The front ceramic glass withstands high temperatures, while the AISI 316 stainless steel safety valve enhances overall reliability. Sealing is ensured by a silicone rubber gasket, complemented by an IP66 protection rating.

Thermal performance and electrical specifications

With a power output of 1 500 W, this radiant heater covers a heated area of approximately 15 m². The power supply operates at 208–240 V on a 50/60 Hz frequency. The 1.5-meter power cable, rated T180, meets industrial environment requirements.

The recommended installation height ranges between 2.5 and 3.0 meters to achieve optimal thermal efficiency.

Wall or ceiling mounting with precise adjustment

The adjustable wall bracket allows for stable and oriented installation. The unit must always be mounted in a horizontal position, with a 45° tilt to optimize the heated zone.

A minimum distance of 32 cm from the ceiling must be respected during wall mounting. Ceiling mounting remains possible using chains (not included), also with a 45° tilt, to expand the thermal diffusion area.

Positioning guidelines and safety rules

The reflector must be oriented toward the area to be heated, without ever directing the beam toward a flammable surface.

A clear distance of at least 2 meters is required from sensitive materials such as cardboard, fabrics, curtains, or glass surfaces. The wall bracket must be securely fixed and perfectly stable to ensure operational safety.

Maintenance and cleaning in controlled environments

As the unit is sealed, any opening or modification is prohibited. Cleaning the front glass and dust removal must only be performed when the environment is free of explosive atmospheres. If this condition is not met, interventions are reserved for trained and authorized personnel, equipped with appropriate protective gear and specific tools.
