Infrared radiant heater stainless steel electric IRC3000CI - SOVELOR-DANTHERM
The heaters in the IRC range operate exclusively on electric power. Designed to be suspended at height or wall-mounted via their adjustable bracket, they stand out for their ease of installation and use. Temperature rise and heat perception are immediate.
With an IPX5 protection rating, these devices are suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. They provide an ideal solution for heating high-ceilinged, poorly insulated or open-to-outside premises used intermittently. They are also suitable for workstations or specific zones in large volumes (workshops, warehouses, places of worship, shops, restaurants) as well as for outdoor spaces (patios, terraces, smoking areas, receptions, stands, construction sites).
Optimal efficiency
With power outputs ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 kW, the IRC models incorporate high-quality anti-glare quartz halogen lamps. They emit infrared radiation that heats people and objects directly, without unnecessary energy loss into the air, silently and without ventilation.
These devices deliver their full power in less than 2 seconds after switching on, with no preheating phase required.
Economic advantages
The simple, quick and economical installation allows substantial savings by heating only the desired areas, regardless of the total volume or building airtightness, even with frequent door openings.
Control is easily achieved via switch, room thermostat, timer, time switch or presence detector for operation only when needed.
Two finishes available
The IRC range offers two types of housings:
Stainless steel (CI range): guaranteed longevity, particularly suitable for outdoor useBlack lacquered steel (CN range): economical solution for covered areas
Both versions come standard with protective grilles and adjustable brackets. The IPX5 protection rating allows outdoor use, even in rain. The quartz halogen lamp with tungsten filament offers an average lifespan of approximately 5000 hours (except when controlled by presence detector).
Positioning recommendations
IRC heaters are installed at heights between 2.2 and 4.5 m depending on the model and desired heat intensity. Installation can be done by suspension or wall mounting thanks to the adjustable bracket that allows precise direction of heat where it is needed. The emitter must be positioned at least 50 cm from any partition or obstacle.
Avoid very dusty environments: accumulation of deposits on the lamp prevents heat dissipation and considerably reduces its lifespan.
To heat an isolated zone in a large volume, prefer installing multiple devices framing the area rather than a single more powerful radiant heater. In all cases, the installed power must not exceed 400 W/m².
