The MD 200 is a detector designed to quickly locate buried or hidden ferromagnetic metal objects. It effectively locates valve keys, valve stems, fire hydrants, manhole covers as well as invisible locating magnets under soil, snow, water or asphalt.

Thanks to its precision and ease of use, this device helps avoid costly excavation or surveying work. It proves particularly useful for interventions on water and gas networks as well as in municipal or industrial contexts.

The MD 200 starts up in seconds and withstands the most demanding environments. Its reinforced ABS housing, dust and waterproof membrane keypad, and aluminum probe shaft coated with polymer ensure optimal longevity. The device works perfectly in rain, snow or extreme heat, even under intensive use.

Detection precision and reliability

The system integrates two transmitter coils and four receiver coils that measure variations in the magnetic field caused by ferromagnetic objects. As soon as an element is detected, the MD 200 alerts the user via a backlit digital and graphical display, accompanied by an increasing audible signal according to the detected intensity. To accurately locate manhole covers or large elements, simply rotate the device to compare signal variations. This technique allows you to determine the exact position of the searched object without ambiguity.
