Whether it's ambient temperatures too high for people and machines or stifling air in the workshop, the PT 3500 SP spotcooler represents the mobile and targeted solution for a "cool" working climate without heat stress.

With its cooling capacity of 3.5 kW and an airflow of up to 600 m³/h, the PT 3500 SP provides immediate cooling, exactly where it is required.

Plug in and cool: the spotcooler is ready for use immediately, without any preliminary installation. And since this spotcooler is equipped with two separate cold air ducts, the cold airflow can be distributed in multiple directions without any problem.

To enable targeted cooling, each of the two cold air ducts can rotate 360 degrees and tilt 150 degrees.

Not only spot or ambient cooling, but also ventilation or dehumidification: the PT 3500 SP is a truly multifunctional spotcooler.

Propane (R290): an eco-friendly refrigerant for air conditioners

Year after year, the use of synthetic refrigerants results in the release of several million tonnes of harmful CO2 (greenhouse gas) into the atmosphere. This is why the implementation of alternative refrigerants is one of our priority objectives. With propane (R290) as the refrigerant, this air conditioner makes a valuable contribution to environmental protection.

The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and belongs to the hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, propane (R290) proves to be eco-friendly as it has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).

Another plus for the environment: thanks to its exceptional thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant – it also reduces your electricity bill.

One device, four operating modes: a simply cool solution

The PT 3500 SP spotcooler offers you four different implementation possibilities, each of which can be configured simply and intuitively via the large control panel:

Ambient air cooling

In this mode, the PT 3500 SP behaves like a classic monobloc air conditioner to cool the ambient air. The integrated thermostat automatically regulates the fresh air supply based on the measured ambient temperature and the room is cooled until the defined target temperature is reached.

Spot cooling

The spot cooling mode allows targeted cold air flows to be generated via two adjustable ducts. In this mode, the ambient temperature plays no role in regulation; it is the outlet temperature that is determined by thermostat and compared to the desired temperature. Due to this mode of operation, nothing prevents placing the unit in an adjacent room and transporting the cold air via hoses to the target location.

Ventilation function

When air cooling is not required but blown air refreshment is desired, the PT 3500 SP can be operated as a powerful fan. In this energy-saving mode, the compressor is deactivated while the ventilation functions remain available.

Dehumidification function

When targeted dehumidification of the ambient air is required, the PT 3500 SP can be switched to dehumidification mode. In this mode, the spotcooler also produces a refreshing effect, although the blowing power is reduced to a minimum.

In addition to the different operating modes, the control panel of the PT 3500 SP allows you to set the automatic on or off times for the spotcooler.

The timer function allows you to define both when you want the unit to turn off and to program a time for its automatic start-up.

Furthermore, the control panel is equipped with a warning light to indicate that the condensate water collection tank is full, as well as a self-diagnosis function with malfunction indicator.

Special equipment of the PT 3500 SP spotcooler:

The dual-channel PT 3500 SP spotcooler has two independent air outlets, adjustable through 360° and tiltable through 150°, allowing targeted direction of the fresh airflow to two zones.

If necessary, an optional air hose can be connected to the hot air outlet of the PT 3500 SP to exhaust hot air to the outside. Similarly, instead of having to empty the condensate water collection tank manually, an alternative is to connect an optional hose for automatic condensate water drainage.

The robust steel casing of the PT 3500 SP is a "tough cookie" and offers exceptional mobility and maneuverability thanks to its compact dimensions and sturdy caster wheels.
