The BG20 is a portable device from the MultiMeasure Basic range designed to monitor carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations in ambient air.

It meets professional safety requirements by enabling monitoring of CO exposure limit values through emission measurements in enclosed spaces, workshops, garages, or construction sites.

Accurate measurement and integrated alarm

The BG20 measures CO levels within a range of 0 to 1,000 ppm, with an accuracy of ±10 ppm. Results are displayed on a large backlit screen, accompanied by a Hold function and maximum value display. The device triggers a progressive audible alarm from 35 ppm, with a continuous signal above 200 ppm.

Practicality and ergonomics

Thanks to its intuitive buttons, the device can be easily operated with one hand. It features an internal memory for ten measurements and automatic shut-off after 15 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life.

Why monitor CO?

Carbon monoxide is an invisible, odorless, and dangerous gas produced by the incomplete combustion of fossil fuels. A concentration of 1.28% can be fatal within 1 to 2 minutes. The regulatory exposure limit value in France and Germany is set at 30 ppm (≈35 mg/m³). In workshops, garages, restaurants (gas heating), or covered karting tracks, regular monitoring is essential to prevent any risk of poisoning.
