IRC4500CI Electric Infrared Radiant Heater - SOVELOR-DANTHERM
IRC infrared radiant heaters operate exclusively on electric power. Designed for high mounting installation, they can be suspended from ceilings or wall-mounted using their adjustable brackets. Simple to install and operate, they provide immediate temperature rise and instant heat perception.
With their IPX5 protection rating, these units are suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. They are the ideal solution for heating high-ceiling, poorly insulated or open-to-outside spaces used intermittently. Perfectly adapted for workstations and specific zones in large volumes such as workshops, warehouses, places of worship, shops or restaurants. Also recommended for outdoor heating of patios, terraces, smoking areas, receptions, stands and construction sites.
Optimal Performance
Delivering power outputs from 1.5 to 4.5 kW, the IRC models incorporate high-quality anti-glare quartz halogen lamps. Their infrared radiation directly heats people and objects without energy loss to the air, silently and without forced ventilation. Maximum power is reached in less than 2 seconds after switch-on, with no preheating phase required.
Economical Solution
The simple, quick and low-cost installation allows substantial savings by heating only useful zones. Regardless of overall volume or building airtightness, these radiant heaters operate effectively even with frequent door openings. Control is easily achieved via switch, room thermostat, timer, time clock or presence detector for customized operation according to actual needs.
Two Finishes Available
The IRC range comes in two body versions:
Stainless steel (CI range): optimal longevity guarantee, particularly suited for outdoor useBlack lacquered steel (CN range): economical solution intended for covered spaces
Both models include protective grilles and adjustable brackets as standard. The IPX5 rating allows outdoor use, including in rain. The tungsten filament quartz halogen lamp offers an average lifespan of approximately 5000 hours, except when controlled by presence detector.
Installation Guidelines
IRC units are installed at heights between 2.2 and 4.5 meters depending on models and desired heat intensity. The adjustable bracket allows precise direction of heat flow toward the targeted zone. The emitter must absolutely remain at least 50 cm from any partition or obstacle.
Avoid installation in very dusty environments. Deposit accumulation on the lamp disrupts its heat dissipation and considerably reduces its lifespan.
For heating an isolated zone rather than an entire building, prefer framing the space with multiple units rather than a single more powerful radiant heater. In all cases, respect a maximum installed power of 400 W/m².
