Installation and commissioning

Recommended location

Emitters should be positioned on either side of the area to be heated, generally at a height of 2 to 2.5 meters from the ground. For appliances equipped with a sheathed resistor, a density of 750 to 1000 W/m² allows a temperature rise of approximately 10°C. This power can be adapted according to exposure: minimum 1000 W/m² for a space covered only by a roof, 750 W/m² for an area surrounded by three walls. For enclosed spaces, a specific calculation is required (for example 250 to 300 W/m² for a greenhouse). Optimal comfort is achieved when heat comes from two distinct directions.

Mounting

The Infracalm is installed horizontally on the ceiling or wall using the adjustable brackets provided. The inclination is adjustable for custom comfort. Standard brackets are not suitable for angled ceiling-wall installation if the minimum distance is not respected. Cable suspension remains possible.

Electrical connection

The INC10D model is intended for fixed installation. The cassettes are approved for series connection.

Control solutions

Progressive control with timer (accessories)

Particularly suitable for occasional and zoned heating, this control allows fine adjustment of heat distribution. The integrated timer offers precise programming of operating periods.

Simple control with timer

The timer is set to the desired duration. For loads exceeding the control range or larger installations, the addition of a contactor is recommended.
