SOVELOR-DANTHERM IRC1500CI Stainless Steel Electric Infrared Radiant Heater
IRC heaters operate exclusively on electric power. Designed to be suspended from height or wall-mounted using their adjustable bracket, they stand out for their ease of installation and operation. Temperature rise and heat perception are instantaneous.
With their IPX5 protection rating, these units are suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. They are perfectly suited for heating high-ceilinged, poorly insulated or open-to-outside premises used intermittently. Ideal for workstations or specific zones in large volumes such as workshops, warehouses, places of worship, shops and restaurants. They also prove effective for heating outdoor spaces like patios, terraces, smoking areas, receptions, stands and construction sites.
Optimal Efficiency
Delivering power outputs from 1.5 to 4.5 kW, the IRC units incorporate premium quality anti-glare quartz halogen lamps. Their infrared radiation heats people and objects directly without energy loss to the air, silently and without ventilation. Full power is available in less than 2 seconds after switch-on, with no preheating phase.
Economical Solutions
Simple, quick and economical to install, IRC heaters allow substantial savings by heating only the desired zones, regardless of total volume or building airtightness. The occasional opening of doors poses no obstacle. These units can be easily controlled via switch, room thermostat, timer, time switch or presence detector for operation only when needed.
Two Finishes Available
The IRC range offers two body types:
Stainless steel (CI range): guarantee of longevity, particularly suitable for outdoor useBlack lacquered steel (CN range): more economical solution intended for covered areas
Both versions include protective grilles and adjustable brackets as standard, with IPX5 protection rating allowing outdoor use even in rain. The quartz halogen lamp with tungsten filament offers an average lifespan of approximately 5000 hours (except when controlled by presence detector).
Positioning Recommendations
IRC units are installed at heights between 2.2 and 4.5 m depending on the model and desired heat intensity. Installation can be done by suspension or wall mounting using the adjustable bracket which allows precise heat direction. The emitter must be kept at least 50 cm from any partition or obstacle.
Avoid very dusty environments: accumulation of deposits on the lamp prevents heat dissipation and considerably reduces the unit's lifespan.
To heat an isolated zone rather than an entire building, it is preferable to frame the zone from several sides with multiple units rather than a single more powerful radiant heater. In all cases, the installed power must not exceed 400 W/m².
