UNI 400 Litre Storage Tank - Double Wall - CEMO

This 400 litre storage tank is specially designed for the secure storage of diesel, both indoors and outdoors under shelter.

Manufacturing standards:

The tanks are manufactured according to French, European standards or any other equivalent recognised standard of a Member State of the European Union.

Above-ground outdoor storage:

Mandatory equipment of a second watertight casing with possibility to detect any loss of tightness

Single-wall tanks are authorised only if placed in a watertight retention tray with a minimum capacity equal to 100% of the largest tank or 50% of the total capacity of the tanks

Materials sufficiently opaque to preserve diesel quality

Solid fixing to the ground on a masonry surface mandatory

Storage exceeding 15,000 litres:

Minimum distance between tanks: 0.2 times the width of the largest tank (minimum 1.5 metres)

Protective fence of at least 1.75 metres in height required

Indoor storage in a building:

Mandatory watertight and fire-resistant secondary casing, allowing detection of any leak from the inner casing

Single-wall tanks must be placed in a watertight and non-combustible retention tray with a capacity at least equal to that of the tank

Possibility of battery arrangement of identical tanks (same nature, capacity and height) for a maximum global storage of 10,000 litres, with interconnection in the upper part and installation at the same level

For tanks over 2,500 litres: exclusive closed, ventilated and fire-resistant room mandatory
