Designed for atmospheric decontamination of indoor spaces, the PurPro integrates into areas between 25 m². It relies on UVc photocatalytic oxidation technology capable of simultaneously neutralizing biological pollutants, chemical pollutants, and odor nuisances.

Equipped with a high-performance UVc lamp and a large-surface titanium dioxide catalyst, the device acts against viruses, germs, bacteria, VOCs, molds, solvents, and other biological and chemical contaminants. It produces neither ozone, nor formaldehyde, nor carbon monoxide. A dust filter preserves the catalyst and maintains operational performance over time.

Technical validation

The Air Lab Control laboratory submitted PurPro to tests in the presence of the H1N1 virus. The results demonstrate 99.999% elimination on 105 particles/m³ after 450 seconds in a test volume of 2.5 m³.

Operating principle

The PurPro exploits UVc photocatalysis. Air passing through a dust filter intercepts solid particles and protects the device before entering the treatment chamber.

Two mechanisms then activate simultaneously:

The powerful UVc lamp (75W) monochromatic (254 nm) emits radiation partially destroying microorganisms

This same radiation activates photocatalysis on the TiO2 substrate, generating free radicals (O•) particularly effective against viruses and particles

This synergy between the UVc lamp and photocatalytic substrate considerably multiplies the treatment efficiency. Unlike filter purifiers, the device accumulates no particles in its chamber.
